Route of Administration

Intravenous (IV) infusion
Intramuscular (IM) injection
Subcutaneous (SQ) injection

 

Preparation and Dilution

• Dilute 200 mg (2 ml) in 250 ml NaCl 0.9% for intravenous administration
• Use sterile technique during all preparation and administration steps

 

IV Administration

• Administer over 30–45 minutes depending on patient tolerance
• Adjust infusion rate according to patient response and NAD+ sensitivity

 

IM / SC Administration

• NAD+ 200 mg may also be administered in divided 50 mg or 100 mg doses via IM or SC injection

 

Storage and Stability

• Store refrigerated at 2–8°C
• Multi-dose use permitted under sterile conditions
• Use within 30 days after initial puncture
• Protect from light
• Do not freeze

Instructions of Use

Storage Instructions:

  • Store in refrigeration at 2–8°C (36–46°F).
  • Once opened, the vial may be used as multi-dose if maintained under sterile conditions.
  • Must be used within 30 days of initial puncture.
  • Protect from light and do not freeze.

 

Dilution Instructions:

  • Dilute the full 200mg (2ml) vial into 250ml of 0.9% normal saline (NaCl) for intravenous use.
  • Use sterile technique for all preparation steps.

 

Administration Options:

IV Infusion:

  • Administer diluted 200mg over 30–45 minutes, depending on patient tolerance.
  • Adjust infusion rate based on patient response and NAD+ sensitivity.

IM/SQ Injections:

  • NAD+ 200mg may also be administered in 50mg or 100mg doses via intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SQ) injection.
  • Recommend buffering with lidocaine or using diluted NAD+ to reduce injection discomfort.
